Re: MX-21 beta 1 feedback thread
I don't know if this was mentioned before: On login screen:
Keyboard and Language lists are not in alphabetical order when clicked. Though I have no idea what may e causing that, it's really difficult to find what you were looking for (for non-English) .
And the top bar: They look too tiny with the default font size 10 , 12 looks better (imho) , if not possible, 11 at least. (This may also be the reason many users said previously in different threads they even did't notice there were such icons/ options on login screen)
Just by the way : Maybe another ( a better looking) default login theme could be considered.
.. And the conky: Yes, as @dolphin_oracle stated a few times, it looks lost .. Just in case a quick solution is needed: (imho) "Emays" looks a bit better among all I've tried (among the default ones only), just, some may dislike the "handscript" style and the 12h clock format ... (like me: I like 24h).. And, again: the bottom line fonts look a bit small..

@Herve33 A similar thread: viewtopic.php?p=649727#p649727 (though yours is not sof-audio ... )
Device-1: Intel HDMI/DP LPE Audio driver: HdmiLpeAudio
message: bus/chip ids unavailable
Device-2: bytcht-cx2072x driver: bytcht-cx2072x message: bus/chip ids unavailable
(A new thread in Help would be better - as it seems not to be an issue about MX 21 or 19 )
Shortly, this may be required as the solution.
https://gist.github.com/heikomat/3fe272 ... b901a92257
(Though it says such a patch won't be needed for kernels 5.3 + )
As in these examples:

Re: MX-21 beta 1 feedback thread
When I read the workup on Distrowatch on Debian 11 I saw that they are now using wayland. Does this mean MX will be using wayland as well or are you maintaining x? Or am I out to lunch about it LOL Thanks

Debian's gnome can use wayland. Xfce is not there yet.Racer24 wrote: Thu Aug 26, 2021 2:20 pm When I read the workup on Distrowatch on Debian 11 I saw that they are now using wayland. Does this mean MX will be using wayland as well or are you maintaining x? Or am I out to lunch about it LOL Thanks
