Yes, I have experimented this bug too, probably a bug into XFCE4 with the new docklike function for pinned apps (missings or removed after the pinned action).
Maybe a workaround already exits to cancel/kill this old pinned app icon ?

@SwampRabbit
Thanks for sharing the info on yad-calendar. I can look at it more later, we’ll see what we can do, the replacement for orage was pretty high on the list of things.
... Good news.

Not sure what you mean with 3.1, but I’ll try an install of Firefox-ESR and try to reproduce.
No to prevent exactly that I've removed the pin manually after uninstalling Firefox and before installing Firefox ESR.
3.1. Comes along with 3. and it means minimizing by clicking the application on the bar does not work anymore. Clicking/activating applications on the bar usually minimize/maximize them.

Installed on a fresh WD black HDD on my wimpy HP thin client, boots and seems faster, a quite working iso apparently. I have started to note down issues/points that I'll post later concisely.

Just to confirm if it is a missing/crippled feature for the beta: does it have working folder sharing? I see no samba config app and rt clicking folder>share folder on network asks for password then does nothing. No shares are shown when browsed from thunar network page.
Yes, samba was enabled while installing and iso hash verified.

@Feuerkl1nge give me time to try and reproduce and debug this.

@agnivo007 the Thunar Samba plugin may be missing, it was just packaged recently, not sure if that is the problem or not.
Can you see if it’s installed?

Not sure if this is helpful or not, but I have attempted to install on a Surface Pro + ( 2013 version )

I have fedora installed on it.

Live boot boots to Grub and I get a message of :
error: Secure Boot Forbids loading module from
(hd0,msdos1)/boot/grub/x86_64-efi/eval.mod.

It was a MOTHER to get Fedora on this little guy, and I believe it should load MX ok, however .... there it is.

Bios:
Trusted Platform Module (TPM) = Enabled
Secure Boot Control = Enabled.

If this is anything of use please let me know and I will continue, otherwise I will just put it back on the shelf and leave it on Fedora (ie = unused ;-/ )

If you are not dual-booting with Windows, you can turn off Secure Boot. Info is online.

@agnivo007 @SwampRabbit that thunar function used to call system-config-samba, which is not longer available due to the migration away from python 2. Thanks for finding the bogus thunar entry.

which brings up...is there something to replace the function with?
