Removing key ring
Removing key ring
I'm running gnome in mx 19 and I want to remove key ring, the instructions say to seach for keyring but nothing comes up. How do I remove keyring?
Re: Removing key ring
I believe the one your after is located in .local/share/keyrings
although you may have to remove it using
sudo apt remove gnome-keyring
viewtopic.php?f=93&t=60778
and I have no idea the consequences of doing that ... seems like its an integral part of keeping passwords and you MAY want to look more into it before removing it ;-/

*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.

Re: Removing key ring
Open Passwords and Keys, I think you could probably delete it from there. But I wouldn't do that myself...

Re: Removing key ring
I'll leave it alone. I guess it's there for a reason.
