It's modified from a very old " Google Now " conky variant from the days when the Yahoo weather API still worked ( 2013 or earlier). After that I signed up for a openweathermap api key (you need to have an API key to call on openweather info), and adjusted the conky to read the weather for location from openweather.
Also added the weather forecast for 3 days to that said conky, instead of it just displaying current weather .
I'm not at my home computer right now but see this:

viewtopic.php?f=95&t=38885&p=386873&hilit=Yahoo#p386873
That related to a mod I did of a different Google Now variant from that time.

Weather portion of that adjusted conky of mine is provided, as well as the renumbered weather icons.
Openweather may not be as accurate for some places as , for instance, AccuWeather, but at least openweather isn't engaged in a constant struggle to prevent users from accessing its info for free (see teobigusgeekus' thread on weather conkies on bunsenlabs forum where he has to keep changing his script for AccuWeather).
PS. I do use the TBG AccuWeather scripts as well in other conkies but they stop working once in a while and have to be changed.
[ADDED: so in my first link above, forum member male posted really nice weather conkies in that thread for Eadwine Rose using accuweather script. None of those conkies will work now without changing the previous TBG script, and in certain cases also adjusting the conky itself to refer to different data reference numbers for the various bits of weather data being called up, due to accuweather changing the order of their information. Meanwhile all my conkies that use openweathermap data continue to work fine]

Thanks for detailed info. The Conky colors and rounded features reminded me of early Ubuntu, circa 2006 - 2009. Nice font too.asqwerth wrote: Tue Oct 13, 2020 11:08 pm It's modified from a very old " Google Now " conky variant from the days when the Yahoo weather API still worked ( 2013 or earlier)...

Note to self and others: SysVinit is a good option. However if you run into problems try with systemd first. This applies to AppImages, Flatpaks, GitHub packages and even some Debian packages.
Re: MX-19 KDE Screenshot
The round corners and background are drawn by a lua script, which is beyond my understanding to be honest. I just use it.
The font is Open Sans. All the Google Now conkies from that period seemed to use it, but then I guess most of the conkies were variations of the same original Google Now conky which was inspired by Android's weather info display style.

Changed from XFCE to KDE. Never used KDE before, but I really like it. I followed a 'LinuxScoop' KDE customization video to achieve this result.
