Multiload-ng.

#1 Post by Devrandom »

I´d like to request a package that has been evaluated some 5 years ago but is not in the repo anymore.

viewtopic.php?f=121&t=40367&p=390143&hi ... ng#p390143

There is a package here: http://mxrepo.com/mx/testrepo/pool/test/m/multiload-ng/ but this hasn´t been updated and thus not working in MX19.

This was discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=104&t=63974&p=630587&hi ... ng#p630587

That helps. There are 24 forks of the original unupdated mullvad-ng and now we have a good idea which to pull from.

Multiload-ng 1.5.2+git20210103 is now available in the MX-19 Test repository.

Multiload-ng is a modern graphical system monitor. It's a near-complete rewrite of the good old GNOME multiload applet, that aims to support every existing panel.
It supports the following panels:
XFCE (xfce4-panel)
MATE (mate-panel)
Ubuntu Unity (through libappindicator)
Every panel with support for Application Indicators
System tray (virtually any panel with a systray, in particular those without external plugins support, like tint2)
Standalone (has its own window, not embedded in any panel)

As with any application in Test, please leave feedback if you try it.

Enjoy!

Thanks, @timkb4cq ! Looking forward to seeing what it can do.

Q1: will it install on Fluxbox? installs and runs
Q2: if yes, did you package it for armhf?no need yet

Don't yet quite get it, but will poke around

Thank you, it was my old favorite applet (multiload applet)
Works here into xfce4, and even into IceWM (multiload-ng-systray) .
