KeePass XC Outdated

Dear Friends,

trust your all doing well and staying healthy and safe.

I am running Linux MX-18 and when I use KeePassXC it keeps saying I have an outdated version and should be Updated. A box will open in the upper right hand corner underneath he KeePassXC icon.

KeePassXC works the way it is otherwise to the best of my knowledge and ability.

When KeePassXC is oped under the Help tab and then under the About tab it displays KeePass 2.6.4. Is that not the latest version?

Please if you'd be so kind and share with me the most simple way to get this newer version of KeePassXC installed.

What am I missing?

Your best best is to head to Test repo under Mxpi ( Mx package installer located under Mx Tools ) to update to the latest version ( currently 2.6.4 ) if that is what you are looking for. Testing is the purgatory until that version is deemed bug free & stable or a newer version arrives.

Under Stable Repo tab it lists 2.6.3+dfsg. 1-0.1~mx17+1 and MX Test Repo tab it list 2.6.4+dfsg. 1-0.1~mx17+1 and Debian Backports tab 2.3.4+dfsg. 1-1~bpo9+1
Which one is the correct choice and safest right now? Why would I get the indication that the KeePassXC version is outdated if there wasn't a safe update?

The test repo 2.6.4 version is the current version.

So Raphael is using the latest version and is getting a message that it is outdated.

I'm also using version 2.6.4 and not getting the message, but I'm on MX 19, not 18. I'm also not using any browser extensions or anything with KeepassXC.

I don't have any ideas, but maybe if you were to paste the actual text of the message and your Quick System Info someone might have a better idea?

It seems to be working okay now. Lets give it a day or so and see what happens.
