Connecting nordVPN kills NAS/network access  [Solved]

#1 Post by MXMateng »

:happy: ok... As soon as I correctly set the local whitelist all runs as expected.
Shame on me to overlook this ;-)
=================================

Hi,

I am pretty sure I overlook some needed adjustments, but can not find m problem here.
I am currently trying NordVPN based on the packaged installable via MX Package Installer.

As soon as I connect to VPN via "nordvpn c", my mounted connection to my NAS are stalled and Dolphin here actually becomes irresponsive.
NAS mounts are done via /etc/fstab as follows:

Code: Select all

192.168.178.39:/volume1/linuxbackup_nfs /home/martin/mnt/NAS-Backup     nfs     defaults 0 0
//192.168.178.39/home                   /mnt/NAS-Home                   cifs    users,uid=1000,credentials=/home/martin/.smbcredentials 0 0
//192.168.178.39/music                  /mnt/NAS-Music                  cifs    users,uid=1000,credentials=/home/martin/.smbcredentials 0 0
As said, I am pretty sure that I as kind of Linux-noob overlook something here. So any hints are welcome.

Thx so much, Martin
