When asking for help, use Quick System Info from MX Tools. It will be properly formatted using the following steps.

installed package <anypaper>
it did in mxflux gui change the wallpaper.
73MiB [next time came on with 41MiB] ran gui; close and gone.

.( okay, fixed that missing mx-tools icon missing hicolor 48x48 changed to 96x96 and there is now icon )
an edit here available 48x48 .png mx-tools icon .

XFCE updated to 4.16 "final" test version. Thunar right-click menu is functioning correctly now.

Session: MX19 Fluxbox 64bit
Menu+window style: Flux-Numix (with icons - merit of fbmenugen)
Icon theme: Papirus-Dark
3x Conky: GoogleNow | BBQ Digital2 | Damo Clock+Calendar, all heavily modified
2x Tint2: Crunchbang-style toolbar & autohiding dock
Compton: Slight transparency + shading only of windows (fading disabled)
Wallpaper: beautifully lighted trees on a rocky hill in Chamba Valley India, slightly edited
