Y'all might want to use this iso as a base for building your very own O/S - there are oodles of great apps to choose from - check MX Tools, MX Package Installer, browse thru everything, build your very own O/S, Snapshot it often, make copies and give them to your friends for Xmas
Once the ‘live’ O/S has loaded, select System, Partition Editor or Gparted, enter ‘root’ and look at your various partitions – choose the largest one, preferably a storage volume, either FAT or NTFS, shrink it by say 20GB, then format that 20GB partition using ext4, DO NOT format your larger data partition, now exit GParted
Hit installer or open a root terminal, type ‘minstall’ sans quotes, follow the GUI, use the partition you just created – you can do this entire operation over various screens, for easy reference, back und forth, until its done – dont rush it.
Once you are done installing everything, reboot, unplug stick, and there’s your very spartan new boot menu, which we will beautify later ... let it reboot - your fresh install will be the top entry, or simply hit enter.
This rendition can be used as a building block, for all kinds of interesting projects – from secure banking, to fixing errant Operating Systems, file/picture recovery or a full blown Internet WYSIWYG system or SOHO or anonymous email-client ... Unix is, after-all, all about choices - this iso is fully functional, is even smaller than all the previous respins, due to better compression algo, removing more crud, and despite a huge Deb AHS 19.3 update + New Kerel 5.8 from Our Fabulous Developers ...
