Very cool looking conky, and also the system monitor (it looks good transparent!) - both integrate perfectly with the desktop image
I guess that looks great, but the systray is useful sometimes, it really may be worth restoring it... I myself do love Tint2- it does away with the need for Docks and desktop icons- it's, for me, probably the best change in MXFB 2.2 :-)

very minimalist.
With me, except for conky, everything is faded out. Tint2 Toolbar classic below and on the left side a Tint2 Dock. auto hide with the settings Panel Layer = Top and maximized windows = fill the screen

I wanted to advertise the MXFB wallpapers that Auro Kumar Sahoo is producing by showing one of the recent ones on his Flicker site that I am now using.

Last screenshot for September 2020.
Personalized and stripped MX19 Fluxbox desktop; memory is idling at ~240 MB at system boot (non-systemd).
* 2x tint2 = MX-Xfce styled vertical toolbar incl Rofi startmenu (left) + hidden dock/deskbar (right)
* 4x Conky = GoogleNow weather + BBQ-Digital2 + AnalogClock/Calendar + ScratchMusic
* RootMenu with (semi) auto-updating 'applications' menu (fbmenugen) - incl 'recent files' entry --> thanks @ppc for the script !

Very very nice, ceeslans.

May I have a link to the wallpaper and also the AnalogClock conky?

Also, are you using the GoogleNow conky with openweather, accuweather or some other weather script? I had to adjust my old GoogleNow conky to use openweathermap after the original yahooweather no longer worked.

Found it on Imageboard Scraper https://nik.bot.nu/vi.fu?id=3528431. Cleaned it up, inverted/saturated colors, changed brightness and resolution. Updated version is here https://i.imgur.com/ZLT28Nh.png.

@Damo provided a great base-script for configurable analogue clocks in conky. Check it at https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=6939.
I used that in a conky, combined with a nice week-calendar. Below is my conkyrc, the clock-settings config file, as well as the two scripts :

Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots

#140 Post by asqwerth »

Thanks so much. Hopefully I have time to try them out this weekend.

Yep, the GoogleNow openweather bits look like mine. Though I had to adjust the naming (numbering) of all the Google weather icons that came with the original conky as well, since they were numbered for yahooweather weather codes.
