That's kinda redundant when you can click on the path in the top bar and get clickable breadcrumbs.

Just quickly booted the image in a virtual machine (VirtualBox), and that leads to all the text in the GUI to be misplaced. Hard to explain, as if someone shuffled the letters of the alphabet. So all labels in the GUI are non-words. Never seen something like this before anywhere.

When I make a new user the icon theme doesn't work (both on hard drive install and on virtual disk install), no icons in Dolphin for example. Maybe something to do with the latest desktop-defaults-mx-kde version as I didn't have this problem before.

Yes, I do.

Maybe, but there's one thing: 'Show full path inside location bar' is disabled by default. So the defaults suck, if I'm allowed to say so. (I know you didn't invent these defaults. Windows 7 and Nautilus seem to have similar defaults, which kinda confirms my point.) So I'd either put a dolphinui.rc file with an 'Up' button in /etc/skel/.local/share/kxmlgui5/dolphin, or have an /etc/skel/.config/dolphinrc file with

Code: Select all

[General]
ShowFullPath=true

So you have to click on the little arrow at left of path ">" to get a dropdown of the full tree to click on.

I know, but not every newcomer will know that, and it's at least one extra mouse click.
