I can run the MX Updater and it will appear. I logged out and logged back in, after 20 minutes did not re-appear.fehlix wrote: Sun Aug 02, 2020 12:15 pm Will it show up when you either login/logout or run MX Updater (unhide icon) from the menu.
Like I said, not a major issue for me but it might be an issue for those that depend on this wonderful tool.
ETA: I looked at the KDE autostart list and it's there, but unchecked/disabled.

What is your Plasma Systray setting for the displaying of apt-notifier (under tab 2)? Is it set at "auto" or "always" or "hidden"? It should be at "always". "Auto" will keep the icon hidden until there are updates available.srq2625 wrote: Sun Aug 02, 2020 12:44 pmI can run the MX Updater and it will appear. Hello dolphin_oracle and mmikeinsantarosa
in MiB konsole 18, qterminal 18, yakuake 23, terminus 24; add + qterminal dropdown for qterminal(2) 35
terminus comes on with start includes guake dropdown option so it is driving two ready terminals at start. test verynice and keybinds of those tried do work. a quick look-in hurrying to the mem numbers fit into these i have been looking.
yakuake comes on with start.
konsole is made to look good. begins off, demand on / off.
qterminal begins off. includes qterminal dropdown begins off. demand on / off.
The thought that qterminal deserved a trial inside this kde and then terminus was in test. threw it in too.
makes konsole look good. Consider the numbers seem similar.
Liking the status text titling in yakuake. qterminal does not include itself in the title.

This is not a bug but a feature I didn't know existed.
I paired my phone and laptop with BT to send a file. Then I watched a video on my phone and the sound is coming from the laptop speakers. I am amazed this works and it's great.
I do have KDE Connect working but I don't think it is involved in this.
Anyway it's working and maybe everyone knows about it but i did not.

I also had my wallpaper changed to the default MX one after the latest update, the one with 'desktop-defaults-mx-kde:amd64 (20.07.05, 20.07.07)'.
I have a terrible bug in Kubuntu where at login (but only sometimes, so not reproducible) my wallpaper gets reset and my desktop icons are sorted alphabetically. No need to introduce this here.

at the moment, due to the way Qt is supported in the debian repo, we are stuck with what we got.

Norbert himself agrees that it's not possible with Debian Stable: viewtopic.php?p=589257#p589257CaputAlista wrote: Mon Aug 03, 2020 10:14 am Is it possible that kde plasma is more updated?
