intel is a deprecated driver these days, and the default modesetting drive is the recommended driver, especially for newer hardware.Gerson wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2020 7:15 amI don't use Nvidia, I use Intel and by the way, if I set from Tweak tab other Use Intel driver, when I restart and work the screen starts flashing and blinking, I have to go back to the default driver it has. Bonjour,
A l'installation de Dropbox il me propose dropbox-nemo et pas Delphin
Du coup, il n'y a las les icones animés de Dropbox sur les répertoires.
Je pense qu'il faudrait remplacé Nemo par Dolphin
Hello,
When I install Dropbox, he offers me dropbox-nemo and not Delphin.
As a result, there are no more animated Dropbox icons on the directories.
I think Nemo should be replaced by Dolphin.

When i try to change icons the icon preview on all icons is not working.
Re: MX-19.2 KDE Beta 2 Feedback Thread
Where did you save your icons? I don't have that issue at all.
For kde plasma, save your icons in $HOME/.local/share/icons, instead of $HOME/.icons

Re: MX-19.2 KDE Beta 2 Feedback Thread
I just installed in the same MX AHS machine with XFCE and it accepts me without problem the 5.7 kernel, in fact I am writing from it this comment. I don't know why with the KDE beta 2 it doesn't pass the Login.chrispop99 wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2020 6:56 amThat is more likely to be a problem with your hardware not being compatible with the 5.7 kernel.Gerson wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2020 6:51 am Both in KDE beta 1 and beta 2, I have installed a liquorix 5.7 kernel but although it starts and goes to the Login, after writing the password the screen remains black with the cursor active and doesn't advance. Can you boot MX Linux AHS version (with Xfce), and successfully use the 5.7 kernel?

Confirmed.tony37 wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2020 7:10 amWhen I install qt5-image-formats-plugins, Gwenview can open .tiff files and Dolphin previews them without problem.tony37 wrote: Wed Jul 22, 2020 4:10 pm- .tiff files are set to be opened by Gwenview but that doesn't work (does work on version 19.12 though), GIMP and Okular can open them, so default mime setting should be changed there. Preview in Dolphin of .tiff files at first doesn't seem to work, but after the file has been opened by GIMP it does work. Weird.

Synaptic search (CTRL-F) works without apt-xapian-index.tony37 wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2020 10:04 amSynaptic search has been working fine for me on my Kubuntu without any apt-xapian-index. Maybe you mean libxapian30jeffreyC wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2020 9:43 am But apt-xapian-index is what makes Synaptic search work, and on my (several) MX installs it is turned on.
What apt-xapian-index does, is to add a Quick filter to Synaptic.
You may CTRL-F and then filter something in the Results.
Re: MX-19.2 KDE Beta 2 Feedback Thread
Will there be another beta after this or a release candidate? or already the final version?
Re: MX-19.2 KDE Beta 2 Feedback Thread
I actually like the xapian thingy as I like having an automatic filter that starts working the second you start typing in the search field. The search function on normal Synaptic requires you to press Enter/Return before the search results are displayed.
