Is it ok to install any of these we want and should some of these be included in the default MX-KDE?
Yes, you can install the ones from regular Debian repo, the one from MX Test are only for testing purpose -- so it's up to you if you want to test and report issues.
They are not going to be installed on ISO because of space consideration, it's already at 2GB...

Sometime when I installed KDE over XFCE the wifi icon disappeared and I fixed it with
$ sudo apt install plasma-nm
I don't know if this applies to MX-KDE

In other words, it wasn't really shut down but in system tray. That is similar to Clementine.

To have it working the way it used to, go to Options >> Settings, and uncheck the whole "Use Tray icon" option, instead of just "minimise to tray".

You don't need the version in Test Repo to have that option. Stable Repo version has that setting as well.
Thanks again, I unchecked everything and now if it works well.

Under Computer|System Settings I get fonts that are greeked out. The setting application work but I can't read it all. Here's a clip of my screen after opening System Settings. This is in a VirtualBox VM. Windows Host.

They look perfectly fine in my VM, I wonder if it's some setting problem, how much memory did you give the the virtual graphics card?

I have the video memory set to 128. I'll try playing around with the settings. I was troubleshooting the resolution and set it to 3D thinking it might make a difference. It ended up that I needed to re-install the GA. But I think I had these greeked fonts even before i got the GA working. I'll play with it some more.

I shutdown the VM and turned off 3D Acceleration. Then restarted. The fonts on the System Settings are now back to normal. False alarm.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Adrian.

This release reminds me of a Warren Woodford product -- a beta that's as solid as many releases from other offerings.

What's the anticipated release schedule for new betas and RCs?
Custom build Asus/AMD/nVidia circa 2011 -- MX 19.2 KDE
Acer Aspire 5250 -- MX 21 KDE
Toshiba Satellite C55 -- MX 18.3 Xfce
Assorted Junk -- assorted Linuxes

I spent yesterday afternoon playing with MX KDE in a frugal static installation. I only had one issue: after having installed my wifi driver I right-clicked on the updater icon and checked for any initial updates. It ran through the check as fast as could be until it was "Reading package lists" which stalled at 97% for 3 minutes, then went to 98% and stalled for another 2 minutes, then finally completed.
