Is that screenshot from the live media or an installed system?
Installed system.

That might be a timing issue. Question to ask, ist that only a cosmetical issue and does the system works normally. If it works normally we might suppress the first dbus-call-attempt message, as the 2nd dbus-call would work.
I had this during the alpha cycle. It was only on the LiveUSB and had no affect on the performance of the system.

It appears just before the Welcome to Plasma splash screen. Everything else seems normal.

Thx for all your good work.

Posting from live USB with old slow thumb drive on old slow machine. Looks promising.

On startup I'm getting 2 MX Welcome windows and it appears I have two panels, one on top of the other. Also, can't set time. Doesn't ask for authentication, so can't feed it root password and therefore.

Not in a position to give this a real workout, but wanted to let you guys know I'm really happy to see this.

Edit to add: System info didn't copy to clipboard, had to do copy/paste manually.

I just installed it in a VM. I don't actually like KDE anymore but MX KDE seems OK. The installation is using 6.45GB of disk space, and Plasma uses 485MB of RAM when idle as opposed to regular (non-ahs) Xfce MX-19.2 in a VM which uses 446MB. Just 40 more megs of RAM isn't too shabby considering it's Plasma, with whatever eye candy's enabled by default.

Couple of trivial points before I forget:

IMHO the desktop icons are way too big, and would look better vertically down the LH side.

Would it make sense to set the keybinding for Konsole to Ctrl-Alt-T to match the Xfce release?

I have it up n running (installed) on an HP Pavillion g7 1150us laptop.

I got the Dbus error booting the liveusb and my clock was off till I did a system update.

Also I have to manually connect to my network / internet each time I boot.

After letting the machine "sleep" overnight (default power settings) it was generally buggy, couldnt start any apps ie Chrome, couldnt find anything in my home.

I did a hot reboot / pretty much back to where I was.

I installed Skype it asked for the keyring each time I boot.

Quick system info will be in reply to this post.

Copy wifi issue / blog / thx. Just ticked the "allow all users box" as per blog.

A couple more things....

There is an exclamation point by my wifi icon in the tray, connection works tho

Display issue in Chrome / the desktop seems t keep trying to "print thru" the browser if I scroll up or down.

On boot there is a notice ... in Grub I guess? "(VMX) outside text not allowed per bios"

Full disclosure I am not a Dev more of an enthusiast user of MX / KDE.

Sorry if I am not of more help. Will def be onboard for the stable release :)

Thx

Any way you could take a pic of the notice in grub on bootup, and screenshot the Chrome "print thru" issue?
