Re: MX-19.2 KDE Beta 1 feedback thread
Will it be available in a non AHS version for those without the very latest hardware?
Re: MX-19.2 KDE Beta 1 feedback thread
Am trying it now on a LiveUSB. I wasn't sure if the AHS was going to work with my hardware. But no problem. Am logged in now in the KDE-beta posting on the forum in FF. Here's my QSI
I did have to set my BIOS to Legacy Boot to boot from the LiveUSB.
Thanks,
Seaken64

Re: MX-19.2 KDE Beta 1 feedback thread
I do not believe there are plans for a non-AHS version from what was last decided.jeffreyC wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2020 5:40 pm Will it be available in a non AHS version for those without the very latest hardware?
AHS "should" not stop any version of MX from working on older systems. Its still MX-19 stable with just minimal updated packages to ensure it works with newer hardware.
But the only way to know if a particular system will have issues is to test.
NEW USERS START HERE FAQS, MX Manual, and How to Break Your System - Don't use Ubuntu PPAs! Always post your Quick System Info (QSI) when asking for help.

Re: MX-19.2 KDE Beta 1 feedback thread
That might be a timing issue. Question to ask, ist that only a cosmetical issue and does the system works normally. If it works normally we might suppress the first dbus-call-attempt message, as the 2nd dbus-call would work.AbbyT wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2020 6:40 pmInstalled system.dolphin_oracle wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2020 6:31 pm
