Version 1.0.5 was just released, but really only is a roll up of these commits, and fixes a dependency issue I identified to the developer.
Please do not enable any repos to install this. You should be able to find and install it using the MX Test Repo tab in MX Package Installer.
Warpinator is an easy to use graphical application that allows you to share files across your local lan between individual systems or groups of systems.
No need to set up Samba, NFS, or complex server setup/configuration. Systems automatically see each other and you simply drag and drop files from one to another.
Features:
- Encrypted communication
- Accept/deny file transfers
- Share to multiple computers
- File transfer history
- Set device nickname
- Designate a receiving folder
- Set group "codes"
- Specify a port
More information for end users can be found GitHub README.
I have been testing and using Warpinator prior to first initial releases, it works well, and for me has come in handy "slinging" packages for testing on different systems.
Please let us know if you run into any issues using it or don't, this way it can get moved to the Stable Repo. But this may be dependent on moving some of the previously packaged dependencies as well.
