I am using your spin about one day on my USB stick and shocked about low system usage(~550MB RAM usage). As far as i see, you didn't change default KDE settings so i didn't need to make a general remaster and there isn't too much extra software so thanks about it, please keep it on next snapshots. I can only suggest adding "plasma-discover" for now.
I experienced some error messages while installing anything via MX Package Installer :

Checking all KDE spins one by one now and going to stay on one of them definitely.
@mikejade,
Tested all KDE spins and recently switched to your spin again for re-test. All respins have a common issue about theming. Some is about SDDM theme, some is about workspace theme but all of them have it.
system settings -> workspace theme -> get a new theme at KDE -> for example Nordic
System settings -> startup and shutdown -> SDDM ->
To be honest, i really like your spin. Please aim for the theming issues on your next spin and keep it vanilla please (no extra software installed).
First of all let me point out that all my respins are using lightdm display manager as the default, so trying to install sddm theme from startup and shutdown settings, you still need to switch to SDDM display manager for you to achieve desired results. from a terminal enter the command '
sudo dpkg-reconfigure sddm' and select sddm from the dialog box drop down menu it will first show lightdm since its the default.
for the themeing issues could you be referring to the 'GTK-warnings theme parsing errors' ??which i found the cause was 'gtkr configs files' probably remained when removing the xfce files .but that can be resolved easily if at all that the main problem you referring to. the warnings for the moment are harmless and you can ignore them but will adress them in next respin. try setting the breeze gtk theme as default in systemsettings gtk section
