Very nice--care to share the script for the MX collection?
@Jerry, i used following script in conky to draw the MX distro & session details:

Code: Select all

${alignr 15}${execi 86400 cat /etc/mx-version | cut -c 1-8,13-23}
${goto 15}Session ${alignr 15}${execi 86400 inxi -S | awk '{print $10}'}

Do you have a recipe for your Wayland/Weston setup that you can share? Doesn't have to be on this thread, though. I suggest starting a "How to Wayland in MX" thread. Also, have you tried other standard MX apps besides a terminal to see if they work?
