Add your vote for MX ..

Here you can just talk about MX or post interesting topics about what you have done in MX that you want to share with others. Other non-MX topics can be discussed within the Rules of the Forum.

m_pav, you pointed to it - any clues?
It came up on my phones news feed.

All this talk has piqued my interest as to why this poll really was posted. One thing for certain is people that would not have otherwise visited that site are going to go there, if not for anything more than curiosity. For it to have come up in a news feed, you'd think someone triggered it to do so, so it may very well be nothing more than a form of click bait, evidenced by the fact that results are hidden behind a click-wall. It's most likely a revenue stream for the site host.

Is this thing receiving thousands of votes from bots or is it just a sham?
Either way IBM/Redhat should be ashamed.
And apologize for propagating fake news.

If we look at Arch forum there are constantly ~400 guests online. Approximately 150 new registered users per month. Out of 10 will post ~5 posts. I would say, bots do the vote.

The Arch devs don't care about popularity:
Whereas many GNU/Linux distributions attempt to be more user-friendly, Arch Linux has always been, and shall always remain user-centric. The distribution is intended to fill the needs of those contributing to it, rather than trying to appeal to as many users as possible.

But there sure are a lot of Arch fanbois around...

MX fanboi numbers are rapidly increasing: are we too lazy to vote?

I see (after more careful reading) that the site is only sponsored, not owned, by IBM/Redhat.
