oomox for Buster

#1 Post by manyroads »

I noticed another recent thread re: oomox theme generator (installed via flatpak). For those interested there is a deb file for buster now. You may download it here:

Enjoy.

Edit: I'm downloading & testing the install. It seems slow. Use htop to watch your PC go to a crawl... Here are some instructions on the process: https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-customiz ... -and-pywal

Does it slow down the PC because it's using a lot of CPU power to render a new theme, or something else?

It was using 100% of three i5 10th Gen cores.... I think the code is a bit pigish. It also seems fairly unfriendly to the system I'm running, lot's of missing dependencies etc. Eventually it worked. I'm not certain many would find this build worthwhile. It needs some tlc before it's ready for prime-time. My oopinion... (oo pun intended) :lipsrsealed:
