Re: Cannot finish update fails MX-19 or change repo
Please edit your post #3 above using the pencil icon to wrap the information inside of code tags. Example:
log file contents, configuration file contents and terminal text go here
You can just select the text by dragging your mouse over it while holding the left button down then click the </> icon in the forum's editor's toolbar. Thanks.
Code: Select all
to make it look like this, which is a lot easier to read for large amounts of text:
1. It really stands out as being separate from the text that you're typing due to the different background and font colors
2. It also puts it inside of its own little frame with its own scrollbars, making it easier to navigate.
Please read the Forum Rules, How To Ask For Help, How to Break Your System and Don't Break Debian. Always include your full Quick System Info (QSI) with each and every new help request.

Re: Cannot finish update fails MX-19 or change repo
disable the backports repo and then update your sources.
The backports repo isn't supposed to work with updates, but apparently yours is trying to pull in those firmware packages.

Well I had to fsck sda2 again but I still can not change any repos in repo manager. It is stuck on the Vietnam repo , still getting error when I hit apply in repo manager.

Re: Cannot finish update fails MX-19 or change repo
the backports repo, which is where those updates are pulling from, is not included in the changes that mx-repo-manager makes. Its set to the deb redirector service. the vietnam repo well may be having issues, but for now the answer to is disable the backports repo.Lab_ster wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2019 8:22 am Well I had to fsck sda2 again but I still can not change any repos in repo manager.
