He=me? Fluxbox has what it calls a "root menu" that users can completely design as they wish. I have set up one based on commonly used apps, since everything is available through the F6 menu and there's no use repeating everything.

I did not know if you used the Fluxbox panel/ menu functions or went with some other combination of items like jgmenu, rofi, polybar, tint2 or the dozens of other options.
@Buck Fankers... actually the classes of Desktops are known as Desktop Environments (KDE, xfce, gnome, cinnamon, budgie...) The second group is known as Windows Managers and they come in two main flavors:
-- Tiling/ Tilers like bspwm, hlwm,i3wm,sway...
-- Stacking WMs like FluxBox, icewm, jwm....
