Re: antiX-19 runit release
I have tried the ones called full and base I think.. and nope, same thing.
*sigh* :(
I guess I should open a separate topic on it if you feel like going on a journey with this system. I wager I have one of those silly things going on again.

Re: antiX-19 runit release
So, it is probably down to the fact antiX-19 (all flavours sysvinit and runit) use a 4.9 kernel and your hardware needs a later version.

Could be, yeah. If that is what you deduct from the logs and all. The former system ran it still, I remember trying antiX (older version of course) on that.

AMD Ryzen seem to be causing (us) problems.

Ran live and installed. Wireless connected. Added codecs, installed LibreOffice, all OK.

Re: antiX-19 runit release
Hmm. Will try a MX19 install fresh. and then install the 4.9.193 (mxpi) kernel on it, see what gives. If that DOES run......?
Lemme know.. and I can start a different thread on that. I'd be happy to be your guinea pig.

Re: antiX-19 runit release
Installed base and works fine with same Gnome, KDE apps, LibreOffice and configs installed in sysVinit + same /home. Feels lighter and faster. Fonts and graphics look "cleaner".
