Please install nvidia-driver-libs-i386:i386 on amd64 by default
Please install nvidia-driver-libs-i386:i386 on amd64 by default
Had an issue with MX19 (amd64) that I didn't have with 18.x: I couldn't run the battle.net launcher through Wine. Turns out the 32-bit Nvidia libraries were not installed when I installed the proprietary driver 390.116 using the Nvidia driver installer, aka ddm-mx -i nvidia (also tried 390.132 from test repo). So if possible can the nvidia-driver-libs-i386:i386 package (and its legacy equivalents) be installed on amd64 systems by default when using the Nvidia driver installer? The 32-bit libraries were definitely installed by default before MX19. Would save some user headaches in the future. Thanks.

the 32 bit libs are installed when you use the ddm-mx (the nvidia-installer tool). or at least its supposed to.

+1 ... I have a issue too with a frugal install of an MX19x32 on a amd64 bits machine. (but not sure than it is the same issue yet)toyyoda wrote: Mon Dec 02, 2019 12:26 pm Had an issue with MX19 (amd64) that I didn't have with 18.x: I couldn't run the battle.net launcher through Wine. So if possible can the nvidia-driver-libs-i386:i386 package (and its legacy equivalents) be installed automatically on amd64 systems by default and when using the Nvidia driver installer? Edit: (sorry not related to this issue, I have a message warning: D-BUS not build with -rdynamic issue )

Then it is a bug because that's what I used (edited my original post to make this more clear). It's possible just the 390xx driver is affected, can't test the others.dolphin_oracle wrote: Mon Dec 02, 2019 12:48 pm the 32 bit libs are installed when you use the ddm-mx (the nvidia-installer tool). or at least its supposed to.

I haven't forgotten this. I think some dependency information has changed but will work on it.
