MX19 Live USB - First time user

Hi friends.
New to Linux Desktops! Running MX19 from a USB drive w/ persistence for several days on a Dell someone tossed (didn't have a hard drive). Very pleased how well it runs, ease of use, look and feel.

• Research led me to SwitchedToLinux YT video reviewing MX 19.

• Dell Optiplex i5-6500 3.2GHz, 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz

• 16GB Sandisk USB drive

• My first try didn't work with persistence. Friday 11/29 I created another USB, ran updates and now it's working flawless.

Welcome, Simple! It's amazing how versatile yet easy Linux has become now. LiveUSB keys with persistance so they work like portable hard drives! So totally cool. Linux has come a lonnnnnng way from when it was just a hobby for techno-wizards. Now all the cool kids are using it!
