Wow! Just Superb!
Wow! Just Superb!
I had been using another lesser known distro and desktop environment for maybe 6 years or more. I recently had my eye on MX but never liked XFCE. I got debian stretch running on an old macbook in my shed but i tried to stay away from the more popular distros for a myriad of reasons. However, MX just kept popping up and was very much of interest to me. i was reluctant to change due to many letdowns and just crappy distros, bad forums and help, and very heavyhanded holier than though god-like mods and admins. just too old for all of that horsesh!t. so on 9/10 and 9/11/19 i installed MX 18.3 on my 2 thinkpad x series and my wife's dell inspiron. man i really liked MX and what they did with XFCE was really pretty sweet. Then i was so curious about the upcoming 19 and on 10/17/19 i decided to install the mx 19 rc1 on all 3 laptops. auto-upgraded to 19 final and have never looked back! i actually got 19 running on the old macbook with 32 bit version. The deveelopers active participation on this forum is a huge plus and they really work so hard in their development of MX - that just blew me away! Anyway thannks to the devs and team and the few people here that helped me out and offered their friendship. 10/10!!!

Have a glass of red on me...
Yes, the dual distros here are 'superb'. Heck, they even tolerate me.

Yep. You'd be hard-pressed to find a smoother, well-built distro with a set of developers so active in development and engaged with the forums.
