Nice MX19 versions ...
DM=XFCE4 _ MX19x32 (almost by default) = RAM 286MB

WM=IceWM _ MX19x32 = RAM only 163MB

... and with compiz:

For those who might be interested... here's a quick snapshot of my desktop. MX19 running bspwm with kitty (terminal), a rofi menu, conky and polybar...

Re: MX-19 screenshots
... Interesting ... For the memory consumption, it is a alternative to "i3" ?

Re: MX-19 screenshots
Personally I like it better than either hlwm or i3-wm. On my laptops it consumes almost exactly the same size foot print.
My favorite tilers are (in order):
1. bspwm
2. hlwm
3. i3-wm
I have some images of bspwm, hlwm, and xfce with zentile posted here:

Re: MX-19 screenshots

just switched to KDE ... dislike marvel but like the colors
.........
by the way ... that screenshot a few posts back regarding DE resources is not what i am seeing with KDE .... quite the opposite
i am finding that it is considerably less resource heavy than xfce ... maybe a vagary of my machine but i am collecting data and will do a thread tomorrow
has me proper confused, which is a semi-permanent state to be fair
