A few hours ago I installed my 18.3 Snapshot, then on 19 ran sudo update-grub on Terminal.
It's ok but only it didn't create the systemd option for the other system found (18.3)
(Two options for itself: SysV and d but 1 for the other)
Meanwhile it's staying original. Didn't touch to MX Boot Options etc ..
(Though I don't use systemd, just to feedback )

Strange thing is : Before reinstalling my snapshot, I'd chrooted there from 19 and installed new kernels on Chroot => MXPI GUI .. then it was generating both options for that OS and kernels)

Re: MX-19 Feedback
Here's a weird issue. I just clicked on an image in Thunar and it opened in Nomacs. But the menu is all in Portuguese!

Kudos on Patito Feo, great release.
I recently installed MX 19 and got all settled in. It's working well for me. It's just so very ripping fast, that it's hard to like anything else in comparison.
Thanks MX devs!!

a tune to raise a toast to MX 19
I'd like to suggest a little possible theme song (some Drum and Bass, if you're into that sort of thing), as a toast to the release Patito Feo, and how fast it is (and I hope it's uplifting for you to hear this):

Funny, when I opened the link the video started at around two-thirds of the way through. I must have started watching/listening to it at some point recently, but stopped.

That's the t=2075 at the end of the link. Start playing at 2075 seconds into the video. 34 min X 60 seconds plus 35 seconds = 2075 seconds.JayM wrote: Sun Nov 10, 2019 6:54 am Funny, when I opened the link the video started at around two-thirds of the way through.
The thought behind the music offering was welcome, the music, not so much.

Re: MX-19 Feedback
Just a tiny thing I faced with the kernel 4.9.193 on MX19:
First, it's really quiet and uses the lowest Ram - together with 5.2.15 - (compared to the default 4.19 kernel)
But on Thunar (in particular) when you scroll, screen glitches (an instant foggy view: greenish/blueish)
I thought it might've been due to (dark) theming but i.e. when I open MXPI (maximized or not) and scroll fast, nothing happens, it's normal..
P.S. Just to have a see, installed 5.3 from test repo (at the moment running on). Everything looks normal.
Only when compared to 4.9.193, Ram is higher : 224 to 284 (newly booted and idling)
( All on an old 32bit Single Core Pentium M - DDR2 ... )

Re: MX-19 Feedback
Installed the same kernel (4.9.193) on MX 18.3 (same machine & hdd & same theme ) and opened Thunar ( 1.6.15 ).
Scrolled fast etc.. No problems there. (So, it seems either related to Thunar's version or Xfce 4.14)

And on MX19 ran sudo update-grub again:
- This time, in addition to not generating systemd option, it couldn't detect the second kernel on the other system.
- However when rebooted, on Grub menu there were 2 kernel options for 18.3 . (without systemd again)
- And those kernels had no names / indicators (like ..."with 4.9.193 .." "with 5.2.8.." )
- Also the sequence was in reverse order: 4.9 first, then 5.2.8 .
