when i press the mute button on my keyboard, sounds are muted well, but when i press it again to unmute , the notification is shown but the sounds are still unmuted and i have to go to settings > PulseAudio Volume Control and umute it manually there.
Tried this just now, it's normal here but I'm running on 5.2.15 kernel.

Huckleberry, can you please keep the text coloring inside a post to a minimum, or best none at all, it makes for easier reading that way. Thanks :)

I don't know if he's been treated here but I'm having trouble closing the laptop lid.
In "Administrator of energy" I have configured that when closing the cover the equipment is suspended but then when opening it, the system is frozen; only moves the cursor, but when clicking does nothing, I have to turn off the machine to be able to use it again.
On the other hand, if from the off button I click on "Suspend" and close the cover, then when you open it the system works perfectly.
I have tried several solutions that have been given in the forum but none have served me. What can it be?

Gerson, can you please try if it changes anything when you install "light-locker" ?

:number1: This time it is [SOLVED]:

installing light-locker was ok but this time suspending was not quick, taking a half minute..

Uninstalled xfce4-screensaver, restarted, everything's OK just like in the "old days" :).

Shortly: install light-locker, remove xfce4-screensaver.

P.S. If you choose disabling xf.. rather than removing, this time the screen doesn't get locked.

Also this made the suspend "immediate" again, flawless :)

But I like having the screen saver. I don't want to sacrifice the screen saver for a cover closure, as I explained before, if I suspend directly from the "Suspend" button and then close the cover, when I open it again everything works perfectly, it asks for my password and I can continue working. I don't know what you gain by installing "light-locker"

  • Menu => Disk Manager opens "nothing". Same when logged in as "root".

    And on terminal:

    Code: Select all

  • I can't see "Ownership to User" in Thunar context menu (which was handy). Yes, maybe I add manually (grabbing from 18.3) but I wish it turns back with updates..
  • Root account never saves the conky. (Created a .conky there with just my fav. conky in). Even when you click "Conky Toggle " to turn it on again, it opens "Conky Manager" , then you select it again and start.. each time..

Locked
