Hello there! Laptop battery Stopped charging after install.
After installing the latest beta version of Mx Linux, i just realised that my Lenovo Flex 14 laptop battery stopped charging; it says 'Plugged in, but not charging".
Is this an Software compatibilty issues?
Thankyou

Re: MX-19 Beta 2.1 Feedback
MX Linux does not boot with systemd by default but there should be an entry to do so in the "Advanced Options" GRUB sub-menu. If you want to run with systemd permanently then install the systemd-sysv package but note that the developers can only provide support for sysvinit. I can help with systemd though, if you get stuck.xtrail wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 6:00 am when i run systemctl, it gives me this same error for almost everything, how do i fix it please?
it says "system has not been booted with systemd as init system (PID 1). Can't operate. Failed to connect to bus: Host is down." Any idea how to fix this?

you will want to install a 5.2 kernel for better vega 10 support.xtrail wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 6:02 am Also, Hello there! i've just newly installed mx linux 19 beta, i have an amd laptop with vega 10 graphics, is there an automatic support for this graphics card? is there anything i have to do to get it working propertly?

Re: MX-19 Beta 2.1 Feedback
do other ports not work, or just the front ones? and If I understand correctly, the front ports work when running the live-usb? Do the rear ones still work when running the live-usb?CookDaddy wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 12:01 am I'm putting the MX-19 beta 2.1 on an old Pentium 4 IBM ThinkCentre. After the install, all was well except the USB's I put into the front ports to transfer some files were not detected. lsusb confirmed. So I checked using the live-usb, and there were no problems. Any suggestions?

that is an odd one. Does charging work when you have the system powered off?xtrail wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 6:03 am Hello there! Laptop battery Stopped charging after install.

fstrim is installed by default
and runs automatically, if you have
an SSD installed.

MX uses SysVinit by default.
It uses systemd-shim for app compatibility.
Systemd, per se, Is not installed.
