I am not sure if this helps but my T430 works perfectly out of the box. However, I don't have the nVidia card there. The only "issue" i've experienced was that I had to turn the Wi-Fi HW switch OFF and ON in order to connect to my home wifi.
Let me know if you want me testing something. I am happy to help.
I use Google before asking dumb questions but I am new to Linux. Thank you for your patience :-)

A couple of things.Does the system send bugs reports automatically?-remember something installer to allow, not sure .2-I've a weird thing happen a few times while watching a youtube video that I had paused. When I go to resume,Firefox closes and all desktop icons go black and white, plus text is just a blank box.system restart is only way for me to get everything back to normal.3-When changing audio from headphone speaker to HDMI and back,(using pulseaudio),I have to refresh the video site/or page to transfer audio source to the other.

I'm putting the MX-19 beta 2.1 on an old Pentium 4 IBM ThinkCentre. After the install, all was well except the USB's I put into the front ports to transfer some files were not detected. lsusb confirmed. So I checked using the live-usb, and there were no problems. Any suggestions?

Please post MX Tools - quick system info, just paste, the system will format for you.

Also, please put a space behind your periods, your text is harder to read like it is now. Thanks.
