I'm looking for exactly what those pages have to control advertising but I don't find anything, that application shouldn't be in MX 19 if it gives that kind of answer when consulting the suggested blockers.fehlix wrote: Tue Sep 10, 2019 8:27 pmThat's probably related with the browser and with addons/plugins you are using. I'm using Pale Moon, and have no issues with those sites. The functionality of antiX Advert Blocker has nothing to do with your browser or how your browser does warn or block sites. I might misunderstand what you are asking? So perhaps re-formulate your question .Gerson wrote: Tue Sep 10, 2019 7:55 pm I still have doubts about this subject.

Re: MX-19 Beta 2.1 Feedback
I fixed it by installing LibreOffice 6.3 on the live system, went to https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/ for the debs, and you have to install all the debs in the DEBS folder. These debs create separate menu items though, "LibreOffice 6.3" instead of the usual "LibreOffice" items.Jerry3904 wrote: Wed Sep 11, 2019 6:28 am Running live, will this help?Code: Select all

I haven't tested 6.2.7 yet 6.2.7 also works, and there are 32-bit debs for that one.
On that note, MXPI doesn't like going to Debian Backports. When you click the Backports tab, it does some processing and then immediately without any message, flips back to the popular apps tab.

I had a similar problem with MX17 a couple of years ago - it would jump back to the popular apps tab before loading Test or Debian Backports repos. It was caused by an update to Firejail that prevented wget (which I think MXPI uses) from accessing the Internet. Editing or disabling the wget firejail profile fixed the problem.
Like I said, probably no help (although, is AppArmor enabled on Debian 10? If so, maybe could cause a similar problem?

Re: MX-19 Beta 2.1 Feedback
Not sure that fixes the problem, seems like more of a workaround. Question remains unanswered if I understand correctly: why does LO work on an installed instance but not on Live? Do we know that?I fixed it by installing LibreOffice 6.3 on the live system, went to https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/ for the debs, and you have to install all the debs in the DEBS folder.

Re: MX-19 Beta 2.1 Feedback
Well, the problem no longer appears on a later version of OpenOffice right? I'd say that's a fix.
I suspect it was a bug in LO itself that got fixed in a later version. From what you and JayM posted, and from what I saw on my tests, LO segfaulted and there was nothing spat out by AppArmor that suggested it blocked anything. However, disabling AppArmor made LO work. This only affected 6.1.5 on my test, not 6.2.7 or 6.3.1, indicating that somewhere between 6.1.5 and 6.2.7 the issue was fixed.

LO not working on a live system is not a problem for myself. My only intention is to report this issue of Live MX-19 Beta 2.1, both 64-bit and 32-bit.AK-47 wrote: Wed Sep 11, 2019 7:07 am
