Testing 19-Beta-1 on my Acer Aspire One Netbook. Quite fast for an old machine!
Some windows (MXTools) are too high for the screen, Maybe some/one of dev’s could look into that? Maximum height 550 pixels, for instance. Scrolling works, so give it a try…

That is not unusual for netbooks, I had that issue on every distro years ago with my netbooks.Jerry3904 wrote: Thu Aug 29, 2019 12:52 pm This comment to the Blog announcement comes from Ruud KuinTesting 19-Beta-1 on my Acer Aspire One Netbook. Quite fast for an old machine!

I believe you use a combo of Alt-F7 keys to move/resize the window for those small screens.
Re: MX-19 Beta 1 Feedback
I tried hitting the esc key while booting MX 19 on my Lenovo 11e with the bay trail cpu and it just refuses to get past the initial boot screen. It goes black and freezes right at the plymouth/MX screen. It gets to the screen that says udev and that's it.
MX 18 boots on this machine, as does Ubuntu. So I'm not sure what the issue is with MX 19 beta. The usb MX 19 live works on other machines, so it's not the boot media.

Re: MX-19 Beta 1 Feedback
Why, exactly? Was that a live or installed boot?I tried hitting the esc key

Re: MX-19 Beta 1 Feedback
Live, though same issue when I tried a full install on an external drive. When it came to the plymouth screen to see what the text said, thought maybe I could find out why it was freezing, plus felix recommend I try it in an earlier post. But it just stays stuck on a black screen.Jerry3904 wrote: Thu Aug 29, 2019 1:26 pmWhy, exactly? Was that a live or installed boot?I tried hitting the esc key

Hi Old Gita (again).
I post some image for clarified where i see the translation to Spanish issue.

Change "Habilitar un solo click en Thunar gestor de archivos"
If only affect to Thunar: "Habilitar un solo click en el gestor de archivos Thunar"
or if affect to any file manager, others differents to Thunar: "Habilitar un solo click en el gestor de archivos"
Change "Mostrar marco de systray (área de notificación)" to "Mostrar marco en el área de notificación"
Change "Mostrar ventanas de todos las áreas de trabajo en el panel" to "Mostrar ventanas de todas las áreas de trabajo en el panel"
- Thunar - Menu Whisker -> Configuration

does it go black, or does it still have text on the screen.KBD wrote: Thu Aug 29, 2019 1:16 pm I tried hitting the esc key while booting MX 19 on my Lenovo 11e with the bay trail cpu and it just refuses to get past the initial boot screen. if black, try the i915.invert_brightness=1 as a boot parameter. or try just adjusting the brightness (up and down, because the values could be backwards) after waiting a while. I have 2 lenovo cheapies that do this. its annoying, and yes, they both worked fine on 18.3, but exhibit this issue on 19. antiX has the same issue on those machines (lenovo s21e and a ideapad 110s)
