Sorry if this is covered already, but there is a superfluous line at the end of the /usr/bin/logoutsound-mx file. I don't think it's actually causing a problem, but it has the potential to do so if xfce changes its code. That line is xfce4-session-logout. It's already in the process of logging out!

Also, it needs 3 entries in Session & Startup. One, as now for logout, one for restart and one for shutdown.
thank you! I'll take care of that. Its a hold over from the xfce 4.12 when we did some trickery to make that work.

as to the 3 startup entries, there should be 2. 1 for login, and one for logout. on my machine at home the logout entries also happen during shutdown and reboot.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

It's not a standalone source package, it's part of the kdeartwork package. We'll have to make it standalone.

They don't on mine. I had to make the other two entries (reboot and shutdown) else I was greeted with silence. When I said three entries I was not including the login sound.

How do you open the Terminal window?
Just made a liar out of me!
Usually hit super-key and type terminal.
After a reboot, did it three times, and three times it came out on default desktop as expected.
Go figure!

Actually it was a good report, as I thought you mentioned the terminal popup when right-click on Update icon and select check for updates, which indeed does have a multi-monitor size issue.
But the good news, the multi-monitor size issue of the update popup terminal window, is about to be fixed ... :turtle:

And it was pretty easy to take the deb apart and make it into a standalone source package.

Sending it up to the MX 19 repo. It will be seen as an upgrade to the installed Stretch version.

This one affects beta versions of both antiX and MX. It's not a big thing, but they both seem to spend a while during bootup starting cups. Maybe 4-5 seconds. I'd have thought that it should just flash past, unless other stuff is going on in the background.

So far so good on my Lenovo C440 all-in-one desktop computer. Looks sweet on this machine.

installed via CD... does well and beautiful. Few cosmetic comments:

1) CD boot splash.... could have a better look
2) (patito feo)... didn't realize its MX 19 name
3) Thanks, conky position and look is now great
4) systemd-shim is there....

$ dpkg -S /sbin/init
sysvinit-core: /sbin/init

5) Good responds and fast
6) Well done!!
