I own an Asus TUF FX504 laptop with a 1050ti graphic card. What is the most favoured way of installing NVidia Drivers?

Re: Help Installing Graphic Drivers on Laptop
It proceeds ok till this point, but there appears to be a "dependency" problem therefore it quits installation from that point on:
So still the generic driver is kept:The following packages have unmet dependencies:
nvidia-driver : Depends: nvidia-driver-libs (= 418.74-2~mx17+1) but it is not going to be installed or
nvidia-driver-libs-nonglvnd (= 418.74-2~mx17+1) but it is not going to be installed
Here it looks 418.74 is for Buster https://pkgs.org/download/nvidia-driver-libs-nonglvndDevice-2: NVIDIA vendor: ASUSTeK driver: nouveau

Re: Help Installing Graphic Drivers on Laptop
You're choosing to try the "test repo" version in the installer by hitting 1 when it asks. There is a problem with those at the moment, so just choose to install the standard version. You can always work around that issue by using MX package installer to update the Nvidia packages from the test repo later.
It looks like you have an Optimus system, so you'll also have to use "optirun" to have the system switch to the Nvidia GPU for a specific program. You can test that after a successful install and reboot with
