uploads appear on several torrents at Linux Tracker.
Where was discussion about DemonLord and what was the conclusion, I hate references to something that is not obvious...
Gordon was asking about other MX torrents previously posted...he wasn't sure if they were legitimate.

Turns out that MX-18 Beta and RC had been posted by DEMONLORD and I mentioned that he is an Admin at linuxtracker.org.

Today, I sent DEMONLORD a PM asking him to take down the Beta and RC...usually takes 24-36 hours to get a response.

Do you know him/her?

OK, no harm done. His intentions certainly seemed well-meant.

The discussion started here, when I commented about downloading torrent files & Jerry queried the source.
https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php ... 43#p473343
Then I uploaded the images from Linux tracker which had DemonLord as the uploader.
Conclusion was that these uploads were unofficial.

I booted the new iso from a usb several times. and it eats the memory and I can not print a screen because it goes black and I have to turn off the notebook. With acpi = off it works but wifi does not activate.
In the previous one, this does not happen to me. I report this problem in mx 18 beta

A workaround could be to install 17.1, if it works fine on that machine, and just do the migration to MX 18 without the kernel upgrade.

I did "dolphin_oracle's" migration notes. Excellent! MX-18 boots faster.
I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

I've definitely noticed that (at least with kernel 4.19).
