Re: Language setting
If you reinstall, someday, you can choose the system language
from the opening page of the installer. Changes the installer to system lang, also.

Re: Language setting
I've looked into that one, but there are so many languages selected by default, a lot off English dictionaries (US, UK, Canadian, Australian, etc.), lot of Eastern European languages (why on earth would i need Slovakian language pre-installed on my system??? weird if you ask me...).
So all i need to do is remove all the unnecessary languages and install the Dutch language (nl_NL.UTF-8 i presume)?

Yes, you can remove /deselect all except one you are going to use as system locale, for Dutch language it is nl_NL.UTF-8.nomko wrote: Thu Dec 13, 2018 3:21 amI've looked into that one, but there are so many languages selected by default, a lot off English dictionaries (US, UK, Canadian, Australian, etc.), lot of Eastern European languages (why on earth would i need Slovakian language pre-installed on my system??? weird if you ask me...).

Or leave all selected and just choose the system locale on the 2nd screen, after pressing next.
The idea having so many locale pre-installed is simply due to the fact that MX Linux is per default multi lingual, it can be run OOTB with up to about ~60 locales.

Re: Language setting
I always deselect everything but the English ones and select that same Dutch one.
You don't have to deselect everything, but when an update comes in for the locales it saves some time.
