I set the timezones, clicked next, and the installer vanished ! (not sure what happened, did I press a wrong button??!!?!?)
Possibly an installer crash, it never happened to me at that step though... not sure what's went on.
This also happened for me the first time, but I was distracted by conversation and assumed I'd clicked the wrong button.

(Trivial)

On an install with full disk encryption, a text message is displayed over the Plymouth screen, which is aesthetically unpleasant.

archive.org MX18b1X64 torrent download, transferred to USB with the live usb maker and installed to an Intel NUC 5CPYH very smoothly.

Hi all. I boot from a usb. In this version sometimes (as it acts with ubuntu) in the first boot it consumes a lot of cpu and the ram is highly occupied and it is increasing the normal is 400 MB), with the option no acpi is regulated but the wifi does not work. In this version and the previous one sometimes the realtek sound (I have an hpx360) works and sometimes not. The mouse menu to change owner a folder or file is lost.

seems that within the package dependency of qupzilla at least two libs are missing:
please install these two missing qml-modules:

Code: Select all

sudo apt install qml-module-qtwebengine qml-module-qtquick2

Please provide system information, by runing the Quick System Info tool from the menu.
Paste the output, which automatically put into the clipboard here.

It may be the encryption password prompt as I reported during alpha it was centered right over the ribbon. Chris please confirm.
