BTW, tascoast, I really liked your screenshot using the greyish "Abstract" wallpaper. It's a really nice colour for the MX default theme.

It does seem a good match. The Panel is a transparent image for background with shadow, compositing enabled.

Haha, that's just a really magnified pic of corrugated cardboard where you have exposed the curvy bit within the 2 sandwiching flat sheets.

This is a really nice pic but the creator on deviantart requires attribution/credit and I was too lazy to ask that of antechdesigns.

Actually, until antechdesigns asked me for a sample pic he could use, I had no idea there were so many webpages displaying pics of different cardboard textures. And lots of them require credit to be given.

Colour - I would like:
a) a lighter grey shade, like #5E5E5E ; and

b) a variant in teal: #16a2b5

Not sure if a clean or faded logo would look better. And I'm thinking that we should lose the circle and just have a slightly larger logo on its own. Or with "MX Linux" below it.


This is totally low-priority, so please don't take time away from more urgent things just to do it.

I already appreciate all your efforts and creations as it is.

Love it! The larger logo works very well, and the grey colour fits the cardboard texture.
