It's in Tools--Preferences--(Audio Button on Left)

If audio output's on Automatic, you don't have any options, but changing it to alsa will give you the option of choosing which ALSA device to use. Then you can Save the preference.
AHAAA!! Thank you very much.

Seems he did indeed! In just that small amount of time, Anti and Jerry and the whole Mepis/antiX community have come together, pulled together, and accomplished a truly remarkable thing. It's this kind of thing that brought me here in the first place.

Bravo, y'all!

Definitely a thing to be proud of, all of you!

Agreed. It has been grand to see everyone pitching in and working together. There is a true spirit of community here.

Testing from a laptop, I've just noticed that the volume hot-keys don't work in RC2. It was easy enough to make them functional by selecting Mixer>Preferences, and ticking all three hot key boxes.

I was sure this worked in earlier releases, so I live booted pre-RC1, and sure enough they worked OOTB.

Would it make sense for the default to be 'on' in Final to avoid support requests in the form of 'my hotkeys don't work'?

same here. This would be the result of removing xfce-volumed from startup. I would agree that checking the boxes in the volume-icon preferences should be the default.
