We make so many mistakes that we have gotten good at fixing them quickly. :-)Jerry3904 wrote:Thanks to great work under pressure by anti and BitJam and the Development Team, the RC2 is ready for testing and feedback in this thread.
Re: RC2 feedback
The md5sum of MX-14-RC2.iso is:
It was posted on the download site in the file MX-14-RC2.iso.md5. If you download via bittorrent then there is no need to check the md5 because bittorrent does it for you. It has to check md5 sums (or the equivalent) of every block in order to prevent malicious people from poisoning the torrent with bogus data.

Re: RC2 feedback
RC2 boots straight to the desktop without cheatcodes!
Haven't done an install yet, so don't know about the login screen (resolved I see in the biug overview), but that is no biggie anyways.
GREAT WORK guys!

Posting from RC2/Qupzilla, Zero issues, wrote the iso to a usb stick with dd,
installed from usb to sda12 on my multiboot test machine, grub in the pbr, added nvidia 331.49 with smxi.
Great job everyone, Thank you for all the hard work, ya done made a good 'un!! MX is really smoothing out well.
Now to burn to dvd & try the install on the old beater PIII with 512m and the antique Riva/TNT2....
