Why is there a size difference with my downloaded RC2 [ 689 ] compared with the size stated on the download site [ 722.5 ]? My file was downloaded from the antiX sourceforge server.

It sounds like your file got corrupted or truncated. Here is the size and the md5:

Code: Select all

 md5: 2c3eba4e17b6951753fc74409b5719b2
size: 722468864
I got the xdelta3 patch from here: http://download.tuxfamily.org/antix/Testing/

That directory also has an md5 file which agrees with what I gave above. I've been seeding the torrent which has to verify the md5 sum. IMO SF can be sucky at times. You might have better luck with either bittorrent or using xdelta3.
