Settings to avoid black lines when using NoSquint.
Full zoom level: 100%
Text zoom level: Whatever you like.
Using the text zoom only, removed all black lines in Firefox 3.5.6 with the NoSquint extension. And you can have the letters any size.

First, Thanks to those responsible for all the work on the new forum. Features look great but I'm getting used to the look and feel slowly but surely.

My current minor issue (and it may have existed at old forums) is the search is ignoring the words kernel and install as too common. It really made search for my particular question almost impossible to find something relevant. Ubuntu forums don't ignore kernel and install, and I quickly found something relevant.

BTW: Is there a list of ignored words?

Thanks for the comment. There is no list of ignored words. The search threshold for common words can be tweaked. We will look into this.

Is there an easy way to search a particular thread? Previously there was a link at the top of each page allowing you to search that particular thread. I am not finding that in the new forum. And I'm not finding that functionality in the general search tool.

OK, here's something else. I just noticed after editing my last post, that it doesn't show a "last edited" time. Is there a way to implement this? I have found it useful in the past. It's not hugely important, but a nicety. Maybe add it to the wishlist?

Rich, you know the response to that? I see "Display last edited time information" is set to "yes". Maybe it shows only if you edit after a specific amount of time (grace period).

I see the edit time when I edit.
Not sure why bbc does not see it.

What do you mean? I just edited my post above and don't see "Last edited..."

While I'm checking out the new forum, I've noticed that if you go to look at a users posts, it just lists the threads, not the individual posts. Is there any way to change this? It's kind of a nuisance when looking for a particular persons post, especially if the thread is quite long.

I also notice what I feel to be a grammatical error in the User Control Panel, under Board preferences » Edit global settings it reads: "Notify me PM if someone thanks my post.:". Shouldn't that read "Notify me by PM if someone thanks my post.:"?
