Recomendation on solved.

#1 Post by Mauser »

I don't know if this is possible or not. When someone marks a question solved, can there be a notification in that thread that shows everyone who had the correct answer to solve the question? This would be beneficial to all because everyone would know what was the solution.

Already there if used correctly. Click on the word solved. If they marked it correctly, which is click the check mark of the post that holds the solution, it will take you to that post.

I took the question to mean that more than one post can be marked solved as the solution, which is not the case.

ie everyone who had the right answer, not to everyone who had the right answer.

Strange because I have never seen that and still don't see that.

That's not what I meant. I meant for there to be an indicator that would show the one single post that was the correct answer. The way it is now, nobody knows what was the correct answer. All you see that it was solved without the one who solved it which makes it a guessing game.

It is up to the user to decide which post solved the issue and use Solved correctly by navigating to that post and clicking the check mark associated with it. The solved is shown on that post. That is how one knows what the solution was.

I understand that, but it's not the case because there is no indication of which post is the one that solved it. If it's not possible to have a check mark or some other indicator to show everyone which was the post that solved it, I understand and accept it as it is what it is.
