Request for the new xfce4-notes v1.10.0

#1 Post by ForkTheWire »

Hi,
I experience a few minor issues with the "Notes" application on my MX23 xfce. The one is visual and it was like this since forever (MX21 days) the "Notes-Notes" text is inverted, but it doesn't bother me that much; the second is more important as I've lost notes if not typed at the "right" moment. If I type a note or remove one or many, and restart or shut down right after, it reverts to its' last saved state. Here is my QSI btw just in case anyone asks:

As it happened a few times recently for me to make changes to notes before I turn off my PC and eventually lose them; I searched in xfce.org and they do have a new version.

https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/x ... aster/NEWS
From what I can make out the visual bug is fixed, there are some other fixes too but I can't tell straight away if the second one is addressed, only hope.
Can someone put it up in the MXPI?
Thanks in Advance !

Wow, Thanks Tim ! 1.11.0 was on my radar the past few weeks and was going to make a request for it, as there were many changes and fixes made. I downloaded it last night and so far it works great, and surprise surprise I typed a note right before shutdown and it kept it ! visually it's better too than 1.10.0. If I come across anything weird I'll post an update as I only have it for a day. Thanks again !
