boot without startx ?

#1 Post by rockyiii »

with

Code: Select all

For black screen issue, during live boot menu
Remove default boot option. Leave it blank
select F6 fail safe
then manual log in demo / demo

startx
i could start the live image and could install mx.

if i now boot into the system the default login screen does not show.
the login has to be done in command line style
and i still have to enter

Code: Select all

startx
to get into the system

how could i fix this

thanks

Use mx-service-manager and check if lightdm is enabled, if not, enable it.
