Connecting a Wireless Mouse

#1 Post by Gigahenry007 »

Dear Friends.

Trust all is well...

I have a blackweb Wireless Bluetrace Mouse. model. BWA15H0124.

Can't get it to connect. When I first had this laptop all I had to do was turn the mouse on and it was detected aka useful.

The majority of the time I use the touchpad, but on certain occasions I'd like to use the mouse cause it tends to be quicker to respond. I'd like to option to use the wireless mouse at will.

Any help or suggestions welcomed.

Grazie,
Raffaelo
;)

Just checking, you did put the dongle into the computer?

Turn the mouse on (new battery), and then in a terminal do:

Code: Select all

lsusb

You should see the mouse listed in the output.

What worked? Did you use the dongle, or replace the battery, or just switch it on?

The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

you have to go to your first post in this topic and edit subject and then mark it solved from there.

had to do a double take on that. it does still show up as solved on the front page doing it the new way. didn't think it did.

thanks for clarification :)
