xfce login screen/dialog comes up for some seconds during system shut down/restart [Solved]

I am running the MX Linux 19 in one of the my machines. Some time ago something has gone wrong during system update and on the next startup I was not able to get the gui xfce interface dialog screen to enter the system. I solved the problem by reinstalling xfce4 and lightdm. By the way, the only problem that embarrassed me (cosmetic problem) is that during restart/shut down process the system shows the login screen dialog for some moments before restart/shut down.
I tried to solve this cosmetic problem but I did not arrived. Any idea how to solve this ? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I installed ssdm instead of lightdm and the problem persist. Login Screen dialog shows up in shutdown/restart (for some seconds and disappear) with ssdm also.

You may have some remnant left over or something missing from the update issue in may (may 25 2023 ) .
Verify your xkb-data is 2.26-2 by doing this

if it is higher, then downgrade it - by doing this

sudo apt install xkb-data=2.26-2

Then verify these are all installed

If the issue is still there, then run MX Cleanup and make sure ~/.cache is more than the days you have seen this issue and then Apply. The two things have that REALLY seem to resolve a few oddities are ~/.cache (all) and Clear Apt Cache - All files.

Personally, I have found that the Stacer utility and cleaning out everything, is good. Just realize, that it will clean our your history's, logs, etc. You can do almost all of this with the MX Cleanup utility too - just choose your sections carefully and avoid what you want want to clear out.
