Nothing. Tried MX 21.1 & 21.3. Will MX 19. Strange antiX live & installed works. Must be not loading something & MX is ? or the other way around. No big thing. Just curious. I'll mark it solved.

Hi Huck, tried launching with terminal live & installed version of MX with the same result. window appears, nothing happens. I just plugged the external cd rom drive into a desktop running MX & asunder works normally. Maybe Mx has an issue with the old laptop & antiX doesn't ? Thanks for your reply.

When using MX Updater (little green box in the panel) I'm sometimes asked to choose between maintainers version yes or default no. Is there a way to know if the maintainer is an MX dev & I should choose yes or stay with the default no. Was wondering if accepting yes might break something. Also if ...

So simple I missed it. I arranged the monitors under the advanced tab, created a profile & voila. Works perfectly. Nothing needs to be reconfigured after rebooting. The profile loads automatically. Many thanks JayM.

I have a dual monitor setup with a display port out & an hdmi out. Launching display under the whisker menu defaults to the display port monitor as #1 on the left & hdmi monitor #2 on the right. Right click on desktop, click create folder, type folder name in under 25 seconds or you receive a timeout error.
Repeatable on 2 different desktops, after rebooting and fresh default installs. Doesn't happen mx-18 or mx-17.
